As a leading MPV in the new energy vehicle market, the DENZA D9 has consistently delivered strong sales in China, thanks to its connection with BYD’s excellent electric system. Now, DENZA is expanding its footprint into overseas markets, with Singapore being the latest destination.
Recently, DENZA Auto hosted a grand brand launch event in Singapore, marking its official entry into the market. At the event, the right-hand drive version of the DENZA D9 made its debut, further enriching DENZA’s product lineup in Singapore and highlighting its strategic vision for the Southeast Asian market.
The right-hand drive version of the DENZA D9 is available in both front-drive and four-drive variants, with prices ranging from 296,888 to 341,888 Singapore dollars, equivalent to around RM 969,824 to RM 1,115,334. The steep price is largely due to Singapore’s limited space and stringent car regulations. In comparison, the DENZA D9 sells for RM 206,077 to RM 400,000 in China, reflecting the significant price increase for the Singapore market.
The DENZA D9 has been a huge success in China, gaining popularity among consumers for its spacious interior, high-quality features, and strong performance. The right-hand drive version of the DENZA D9 launched in Singapore is expected to deliver the same level of quality and performance. The vehicle’s dimensions—5250mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1920mm in height—along with a 3110mm wheelbase offer a roomy and comfortable experience. Additionally, the DENZA D9 is available in plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions to cater to different preferences.
Since 2024, DENZA Auto has been actively expanding in Southeast Asia, with earlier entries into markets such as Hong Kong and Cambodia. Its launch in Singapore marks the brand’s first venture into a right-hand drive country. With the arrival of the right-hand drive DENZA D9, DENZA Auto is poised to make waves in the Southeast Asian automotive market, offering consumers a premium vehicle option.
