    Umrah pilgrimage is voluntary to perform. Unlike hajj, Muslims don’t have an obligation to offer Umrah rituals despite having the means to afford it. Since it’s a Sunnah of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and a highly rewarding journey, Muslims opt for it. 

    Preforming Umrah rituals is completely different from your daily Ibadah. It requires a pilgrim to be in a certain state for a specific period and perform particular tasks. Here is what you need to understand.

    Rituals of Umrah.

    Umrah pilgrimage requires pilgrims to perform four primary rituals. Ihram, Tawaf, Sayee and Tahallul.

    Ihram refers to the state of purity Muslims attain to begin holy rituals. It also defines the specific clothing worn by pilgrims during this time. One can only enter Masjid-al-Haram and cross the Meeqat boundary after entering Ihram. 

    Tawaf is the act of walking around Holy Kaabah for seven consecutive rounds. They should proceed in an anti-clockwise direction with each round starting/ending at the place of Hajar-al-Aswad. After completing Tawaf rounds, pilgrims should go near Maqam-e-Ibrahim to offer 2 Rakat Salat-al-Tawaf and then drink Zamzam water. 

    Sayee is the third ritual of Umrah in which pilgrims walk across Safah and Marwah Hills. There are seven rounds that pilgrims need to complete starting from Safah towards Marwah. 

    Upon completion of Sayee, Tahallul is the last rite. Men should opt for Halq i.e. complete shaving of head. Women, on the other hand, can only do Taqsir i.e. trimming of Hair not more than a fingertip’s length. 

    After the completion of these four rituals, a pilgrim can denounce the state of Ihram. 

    Time required to complete Umrah.

    If a pilgrim of December Umrah Packages from UKperform all of these rituals consequently, Umrah takes only 5 to 6 hours to complete. However, deepening upon one’s physical health constraints and personal preferences, the time may vary. 

    Visa validity.

    Umrah visas are valid for at least a month. If you are getting an Umrah permit on a visit, work, or family visa; validity may be different. Nonetheless, you have plenty of time to spend in KSA for the holy rituals. Therefore, considering the spare time you may have after completing Umrah, one can easily perform Umrah multiple times. 

    Rulings on performing Umrah multiple times.

    Since Umrah is a Sunnah pilgrimage, there’s no restriction of a specific time to perform it. 

    There’s no limitation in the religion regarding the number of Umrah one can perform. Whether in a single trip or multiple visits. Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) himself performed a total of four Umrah in his lifetime. In fact, it’s recommended to follow-up on the performance of Umrah rituals.

    If a pilgrim with Family Umrah packages from UKwants to perform multiple Umrah in one trip, it’s permissible. There’s no prohibition in this regard. A person can perform as many Umrah in a single trip as he/she desires. Depending upon your physical constraints and passion, you can perform Umrah multiple times in one trip. 

    One thing to consider is that you spare sufficient time to let your hair grow to some extent at least. This is because for the last rite i.e. Tahallul, one needs to shave/trim hair. So, wait at least a day or two and then proceed with you next Umrah in the same trip. 

    For your next Umrah within the same trip, you should go to Meeqat station and assume Ihram again. Masjid-e-Aisha (RA) is the popular Meeqat station for pilgrims intending for multiple Umrah in one trip.

    Best time to perform multiple Umrah.

    The best time to perform multiple Umrah in one trip is either in the month of Ramadan or December. Ramadan brings highest rewards for Umrah while December Umrah Packages from UK guarantee peaceful weather conditions. 

    If you want to get the high rewards, Ramadan is the best time to perform Umrah multiple times in one trip. One Umrah in Ramadan holds and equivalent reward of Hajj! On the other hand, performing Umrah multiple times in one trip during December brings you a peaceful environment.
